TRIPLE STAKED DRYER


Triple stacked dryers are produced by the second and the third modules installation over the base module or the middle module addition. The base module has two fans and two burners with the plenum dividing in the proportion 2/3 and 1/3. The modules hitch up with the help of the special side posts.

The upper and the middle modules may have one or two fans with the burners. Regardless of the number of the fans, the chambers of the upper and the middle modules don't have a baffle. 

When the dryer runs in Heat/Cool mode the grain gets hot in the upper or the middle module and in the upper chamber of the lower module., and gets cool in the lower chamber of the lower module. The lower burner of the lower module is not switched on; only the fan is in operation.

If the dryer runs only in Heat mode, the lower chamber of the lower module is also used for heating.

Efficiency  of triple stacked dryers are the same for the dryers with four fans (the upper or the middle module has one fan), and for the dryers with five or six fans (the upper or the middle module has two fans).It could be explained by the fact, that a more powerful burner and a bigger fan are used in the module dryers with one fan in the upper or the middle module.

Regardless of the number of the fans and the burners in the upper module, the volume and the  temperature of the heated air which get through the grain will be the same.
